SG manually made for fiber-matrix phase

    Hi Sadik,

    I did the homogenization using your model 3D3.sat and material properties of fiber and matrix. In this model, the fiber intersect with the boundary surface of the unit cell. Here are the results I have obtained:

    The fiber direction is the Y as shown in the attached picture. Therefore the modulus in the fiber direction is 2.1330599E+05  .

    Hello Bo, Thank you for your help. It got a bit confusing, I sent two sat models. The first named model is the one with the fiber intercecting. The second named 3D3P something... Is the one with the fiber slightly embedded. Could you please run the second and check the results?     Hello Bo,

    Its working fine now with C3D8, but as attached, with C3D4 mesh I get diffrent results... what do you think is worng?

    *please note: I used C3D4:  A 4-node linear tetrahedron.
