Our company is evaluating Vabs and Prevabs for rotorcraft composite blade application.
My first objective is to use vabs to compute the structural and inertial properties of the blade accorrding to blade characterisitcs ( airfoil, twisting , layers...).
May you help me to define the steps for this objective?
I am not clear about what you are asking. You just need to prepare your input file for prevabs, then prevabs will generate the input file for VABS, then run VABS to get the blade properties, then use these properties for your blade analysis. If you are also interested in detailed 3D stress distributions, you can run VABS again to get the recovered 3D fields.
