Biography
My name is Ariel Dimston and space is my passion, I believe that humanity’s near future will be determined by how we approach this new frontier. My ultimate goal is to push the envelope further ahead for the people that come after me. My primary focus is in structural mechanics and analysis. Work experience includes research and development of Purdue Hyperloop vehicle, a six-month internship with XCOR aerospace, and an internship working at University of Texas on the Armadillo and Bevo2 nanosatellites. Academic work and practical experience have provided a foundation in finite element theory, structural mechanics, and manufacturing design. Competitive teams including Hyperloop competition team and solar racing teams in fast paced environments laid the groundwork for experience in rapid prototyping and lean manufacturing.
