I have been a Process Engineer with Northrop Grumman (NG) Space Systems (formerly known as Innovation Systems/Orbital ATK) for the last 1.5 years and graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's of Science in Materials Science and Engineering in 2018. In my time with NG, I have worked on the NASA Space Launch System side boosters, GEM63 XLT boosters, and hypersonic technologies. I live and work in Utah, though I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ.
During my time at the University of Utah, I took on many different opportunities and leadership roles, including being part of the Undergraduate Student Advisory Committee for my department, a Programming Assistant for the Housing and Residential Education Department, a Teaching Assistant for a Materials Characterization course, and being a Research Assistant. My main focus was in photovoltaic materials (namely CdTe/CdS photovoltaic cells) during my senior year though I now work in the aerospace industry.
