My name is Ernesto Camarena and I am originally from El Paso, TX. I moved to Purdue in 2008 and have been here since then. I have a B.S. and M.S from Civil Engineering (Structures) and am currently in the Aero./Astro. PhD program. I am interested in modeling smart structures with applications to morphing wings. Currently I am using SwiftComp to increase modeling accuracy of piezoelectric Macro-fiber Composite (MFCs) patches that are embedded to host structures.
