• Biography

  My wife and I are from Hopkinsville, KY. I attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and earned a BS in Civil Engineering in 2004. Since then I have remained an active duty Coast Guard Officer serving onboard the Coast Guard Cutter SHERMAN in San Francisco, CA as a shipboard engineer. I was then selected for flight school and received my wings in 2007. I have flown HC-130H aircraft since then in Sacramento, CA and Barbers Point, HI, where I served as the Assistant Aeronautical Engineering Officer. I am still active duty Coast Guard, sent to Purdue as a graduate student of Aeronautical Engineering, majoring in structures. Upon graduation in 2017, I expect to fulfill my obligated service as a product line engineer at the Coast Guard's Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, NC. My wife and I have two children and are expecting our third in late April.
