Abstract

TexGen is a geometric textile modelling software package to be used for obtaining engineering properties of woven textiles and textile composites. It is open source software licensed under the General Public License developed at the University of Nottingham for modelling the geometry of textile structures. The software here is modified to integrate SwiftComp (https://cdmhub.org/resources/scstandard/). Taking the advantages of model generation by texgen and constitutive modeling by SwiftComp, TexGen4SC provides a fast and easy way to perform homogenization analysis for woven textile composites.
