I have an issue about ANSYS Workbench GUI. I downloaded and installed the extension as shown on manuals. I also tried the homogenization with fully periodic case and I got correct results. However, as I try to use aperiodicity in each direction, I got 3 different result.
You can see my base model to be homogenized on the attachment, I think the aperiodicity of X and Y directions should give the same results because of the shape. I was trying to see the finite size effect but aperiodicity didn't help me on this case.
What is the meaning of aperiodicity in ANSYS WB GUI, how can I get the correct results and observe finite size effect? Or is it possible with the ANSYS WB GUI?
