First of all, thank you for sharing VABS with me. I have problem about installation and after installation .
My first question, is related to swiftcomp. I can see SGs module left side in Ansys Apdl and i can use but when i click to button (plate/shell model) for see to solution then i have a error. İts writing ' Something is wrong! Please refer to Output Window!' how can i solve this problem. Bytheway i didnt install VABs software when i used SGs module.
My second problem is that i cant install VABS, i tried 3 ways which is writing in user manuel,i couldnt take necessary information like a hostname. How can i solve it.
Third question, should i install prevabs and swfitcomp after install VABS or does that applications (prevabs and swfitcomp) not need to VABS? Are prevabs and swfitcomp working independent from VABS?
If you wanted to use SwiftComp, then you use Ansys-SwiftComp GUI (https://cdmhub.org/resources/1136). We are working on a workbench version to be released very soon.
Sir, I can see SGs module left side in Ansys Apdl and i can use but when i click to button (solid model) for see to solution (while i am waiting notepad and see the stiffness matrix) then i have a error. İts writing ' Something is wrong! Please refer to Output Window!' how can i solve this problem. Screenshot is in the attachment.
I click the File>switch to output>output window in ansys APDL but it still doesnt work. I dont know, how can i show the output window. (i tried CTRL+ALT+ O but i couldnt show) What is wrong in my computer, why i take this kind of error.
Usually, this error occurs if there is no license file in your working directory. For example, please see my screenshot attached. In this case, the output window tells me that I need to put a license file in my working directory.

I am confused. If you are using VABS, then you need to use Ansys-VABS GUI https://cdmhub.org/resources/991. In fact, if you don’t have to stick with VABS, then it is better to use PreVABS we just released at https://cdmhub.org/resources/1597.

Hi Yunus,
Usually, this error occurs if there is no license file in your working directory. For example, please see my screenshot attached. In this case, the output window tells me that I need to put a license file in my working directory.
Please let me know if this helps. Thanks!
