    Goon mo Koo is currently PhD candidate in School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. He received his BS degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Maryland College Park in 2013 and MS degree in School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University in 2017. He served for Republic of Korea Air Force from 2013 to 2015 as a Military Police sergeant. During the college years, he attended a project related to Aluminum powder combustion and attended writing a journal as a co-author. He was also vice-president of Korean International Student Association at UMCP, and worked at Korean Scientists and Engineers Association as a board member of Purdue Chapter. He was elected as a president of Purdue Korean Association as well in 2017. He is currently working on the research related to smart materials and structural health monitoring titled as "On the development of general deformation-AC/DC transport constitutive relations in carbon nanofiller-modified composites"
