Born in Detroit, MI in 1981 Raised in Kewanee, IL – a small farming/industrial town in western Illinois. Education: BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 2004 Completed Naval Flight Training, November 2007 – Designated Coast Guard Aviator Completed Coast Guard MH-65 flight training (Search and Rescue Helicopter) MS in Administration from Central Michigan University, 2013 Career History: Naval Engineer aboard Coast Guard Cutter Gallatin, Charleston, SC, 2004-2006 Naval Flight School 2006-2007 Search and Rescue Helicopter Pilot, Miami, FL 2007-2012 Aeronautical Engineering Officer/Search and Rescue Helicopter Pilot, North Bend, OR 2012-2015
I’m married (Angie) with three kids: Camden (5 in Feb), Gavin (3) and Chloe (1) I enjoy outdoor activities with family, sports and time with family at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.
