With my bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, I am currently pursuing my masters in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University majoring in Structures and materials. My most significant experience in working with structures includes the time I spent in the college racing team, BAJA NITK Racing. I worked with closely with the structural design team and also as the team lead in my senior year. My varying responsibilities exposed me not only to the engineering aspect but also to the resource and fund management aspect in a project. I have had industrial exposure in the form of internships which include
1. FIAT Chrsyler Automobiles
2. Defense Research and Development Laboratory.
My thesis work focuses on multifunctional materials and its prospective application such as structural health monitoring and self sensing.
