Conference travel is a great learning experiences for graduate students. For those students are are presenting one or more papers on a conference, Prof. Yu’s group will try to support the travel. Besides the support from Prof. Yu’s group, there are other resources you can apply from the university.
1. You can apply to the travel grant from Purdue Graduate Student Government. More details can be found at https://www.purduegradstudents.com/travel-grants. A short essay is required. 2. You can apply to AAE travel grant. Up to $400 can be awarded. More details can be found at https://engineering.purdue.edu/AAE/foryou/currentstudents/aae-grant-guidelines.
3. If you have passed the prelim exam, you can apply to the College of Engineering for a travel grant of $500. More details can be found at https://engineering.purdue.edu/Engr/Academics/Graduate/ProfessionalDevelopment/conference-travel-grants.
